Sing yourself Awake

Due to Carolin's commitment to helping her 90 year old parents to move house in January this class has now become a monthly group until further notice.

This is an informal and supportive group where we can grow and share together as a small singing community. We will be learning health giving chants and voice and movement exercises similar to voice yoga. These include laughter techniques and vocal toning to balance the chakras,   and they assist in bringing the body and mind to a state of harmony, peace and well-being. Guaranteed to wake you up and send you home buzzing with energy!

Ecstatic Trance Dance

Carolin qualified as a teacher of ecstatic movement in June this year and she is now starting up a new group that will meet once a month. This group will be called TranscenDANCE and it's   aim is to:
  • Release stress and energize the body;
  • Free you from emotional baggage by moving stuck energy;
  • Transcend the chatter of small mind and bring you into the Presence of Now;
  • Awaken your heart to self-acceptance and self-love.
  • Connect you to the Divine Oneness of your true nature and All That Is.
Using breath, body warm ups, rhythm, free dance to great music (with eyes closed, so that no-one has to feel self-conscious), and a live sound healing meditation, these monthly classes will offer you a chance to really let yourself go in a safe and supportive space and ignite your life force energy .

Gong Baths:

This is not literally an immersion in water with a gong, as the title implies, but a chance to lie down comfortably, wrapped cosily in a rug, while being bathed in a symphony of healing sounds from gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, N. American flute, monochord, bells, marimba and other world instruments that have a particularly healing resonance.

These other worldly sounds will transport you on an extraordinary journey out of your everyday ego mind, to an alpha or theta brain state of deep meditation, which can give you deep inner insights and a feeling of total relaxation and release from every day worries and stress. It is a totally indulgent and transformative experience!
